Series Eligibility
The Southeast Junior Talent ID Race Series is open to all junior age athletes age 13-15 and 16-19. However, minimum racing age is at the sole discretion of the race director. Series events are independently operated and entry is not guaranteed. Event directors have the right to limit the number of participants in their event. It is in the athlete’s best interest to register in advance for ALL races in which they plan to participate. The series consists of the highest-quality events in the region and many of them sell out early.
Series Scoring
Points will be awarded at each event as outlined below. Athlete’s top 5 scores will be tallied to determine an overall series winner. Awards will be given for the top five overall male and female in each age category 13-15 and 16-19. In the event of a tie between two or more athletes, each head-to-head match-up will be reviewed and the winner of the greater number of said match-ups will be recognized as the winner. Ties will only be broken for the top five overall places in the series. Athletes must compete in a minimum of two events on the series to be eligible for overall series awards. Overall series winners will be announced following the series final race.
Point scoring system:
1 place = 100 points
2 place = 80 points
3 place = 60 points
4 place = 50 points
5 place = 40 points
6 place = 30 points
7th – 10th place = 20 points
